Every student coming into Old Dominion University must attend one of our Monarch Orientation sessions, which is hosted by our Student Transitions and Family Programs office.

During Monarch Orientation, you will have the opportunity to visit with various departments and student services on campus, hear a presentation, participate in an academic advising session, and register for your courses.

The following must be completed prior to registering for courses:

1. As noted in the 入学s/Monarch Orientation "Admitted Student Checklist", you should have already set up your 迈达斯 account (迈达斯.shuanglijiaoshoujia.com).
2. Make sure that you can use your 迈达斯 ID to access your ODU email account (My.shuanglijiaoshoujia.com).
3. 完成 University Online Orientation.
4. Register for Monarch Orientation
